Arrive in Srinagar. Spend a relaxing evening at a hotel near Dal Lake. Prep for the high-altitude journey the next day.

Srinagar to Gurez via Razdan Pass

Start early. Drive via Bandipora and the Wular Lake. Cross the breathtaking Razdan Pass (11,600 ft). Arrive in Dawar, the central township of Gurez Valley.

Habba Khatoon & Kishanganga

Wake up to views of the pyramid-shaped Habba Khatoon peak. Visit the local villages featuring traditional log houses. Walk along the turquoise Kishanganga River.

Tulail Valley Exploration

Take a day trip to the deeper Tulail Valley. The landscape becomes even more dramatic, feeling untouched by modern civilization. Interact with the warm, local Shina-speaking people.

Return to Srinagar

Drive back over the Razdan Pass, bringing you back to the comforts of Srinagar by late afternoon. Enjoy a farewell Shikara ride.
